Dog Parks in Henderson, NV
So you and your dog(s) have decided to live in the Henderson Real Estate area. Whether you are new to the city or simply moving across it you and your pets will both be trying to settle into a new environment. Its time to adapt. Here are a few things to keep in mind before venturing out into your new city. First things first find a local veterinarian. Green Valley Animal Hospital is just one of the many to choose from. This initial visit is crucial if you have never lived in or near the desert. The dry arid climate creates a very different environment for your dog and your local vet will be able to guide you in the right direction with how much water your furry friend should be drinking all the way down to a suggested diet and necessary vaccinations. After youve made your appointment with the veterinarian the city of Henderson requires that you register each our your pets (dogs cats ferrets etc.). For more information on this particular topic refer to our previous entry Pet License Information. Once youve checked off the first two from your list it is now time to see just what the city has available for both you and your dog(s). Henderson dog owners should be happy to know that there are currently six dog parks scattered throughout Henderson Real Estate with a seventh and largest park under development as we speak. The parks for dogs and their owners are large fenced grassy areas with spaces separating play areas for large dogs and small dogs. All parks have specific rules to abide by with most rules being publically displayed near the entry. A few important ones to remember are All owners are legally responsible for any injuries that may occur. While it would be nice if nothing ever happened it does. Keep food out of the area. Owners have differing opinions on dog treats and what dogs can eat. Reward their behavior with words and save the treat for later. While it is hot out and some dogs love to play in the water just as much as humans dogs are not to play in the kids waterpark area. Dog waterparks are not available. Pay attention to what your dog is doing. Some people may not be as comfortable with your dog jumping on them as you are. Be overly courteous. Finally keep your dog on a leash when youre not in the dog park. Enjoy walking and running with them. There are plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for you both to enjoy. For more information on dog parks in your area contact the city of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department at (702) 2674000.

Las Vegas Trustee Sale for June 2010
As we report on the Trustee Sale every month you can either go back to view the previous months blog for the Clark County Trustee Sale or just follow the graph below. Commentary on the market events is included in each blog. For convenience sake we will track trustee sale action within our targeted zip codes on this graph for each month going forward. Readers will be able to compare data from month to month in one report. Silverado Ranch Homes led all other master plans with 452 homes slated for auction at the trustee sale last month. This is up from 407 homes the month prior. The number of homes scheduled for auction depends on so many factors whether homes are in the foreclosure process whether homeowners are able to make alternative arrangements with the bank or if they file bankruptcy and then sometimes the bank makes decisions that will affect the auction. There are several possible results at the auction. For the Silverado Ranch area the results were that 94 sales were canceled 236 sales were postponed 26 homes were sold to a 3rd party and 97 were sold back to the bank. The numbers I am about to discuss for Henderson Homes at the Trustee Sale actually do not include all parts of Henderson. I like to identify the master plans of Green Valley Ranch and Anthem separately as shown on the graph. Zip Codes 89011 89012 89014 and 89015 are the areas designated as Henderson. The total number of homes scheduled for sale was 716. Of those 124 sales were canceled 403 sales were postponed 41 sales were completed with a 3rd party buyer and 148 homes were repossessed by the bank. On a side note the total number for all of Las Vegas Real Estate are quite astounding. For June 2010 a total of 10 325 homes were supposed to be auctioned at the Trustee Sale. Of those sales 2001 were canceled 5692 sales were postponed 593 homes were sold to a 3rd party and 2039 homes were sold back to the bank. The pipeline is backing up substantially.
