Centennial Hills’ real estate is a spacious master-planned community located on the very Northwest edge of Las Vegas, north of Summerlin off the 215. This community seems to attract residents who want to live in the fabulous city of Las Vegas but be far enough out to avoid the busyness of life. Less than thirty minutes from the Strip and the McCarran Airport, Centennial Hills provides just that, a little breathing room.
There some wonderful natural amenities within a short distance of Centennial Hills. Beautiful Mount Charleston sets at an elevation of 11,918 feet. Among many offerings skiing and hiking the 50 miles of trails are some of the favorites. There is also Kyle Canyon in the Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest. At an elevation of 7,700 feet it’s a great escape from the summer heat, typically 30 degrees cooler than the valley. Also nearby is the Floyd Lamb State Park, converted to a state park in the late 60’s, this place has quite the history. Inside the park visitors can tour Tule Springs Ranch which was once a place of residence for large prehistoric mammals. You can see fossil remains from ages ago when the climate was much more conducive to animals such as the mammoth and giant sloths. Not interested in fossils? Stroll around the grounds, have a picnic, play in the park or bring your fishing rod and cast away.

As if all that weren’t enough, only five minutes north of Centennial Hills’ real estate is the Paiute Indian Reservation. Some 3800 acres of land was returned to this tribe in the early 80’s and today you can visit the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort featuring three magnificent golf courses.
